
The Methane to Markets Partnership is an international initiative that advances cost-effective, near-term methane recovery and use as a clean energy source. The goal of the Partnership is to reduce global methane emissions in order to enhance economic growth, strengthen energy security, improve air quality, improve industrial safety, and reduce emissions of greenhouse gases.

Pakistan, a Methane to Markets Partner since 2008, is a member of the Coal Mine, Landfill, and Oil and Gas Subcommittees. Pakistan hosts an Alternative Energy Development Board, which fosters sustainable development and use of renewable energy, including methane recovery projects, through policy, project development, and technical training.
Eni: Reducing Emissions, Sharing Experiences
Eni, an Italy-based integrated energy company, has been an active member of the Methane to Markets Project Network participating in the Oil and Gas Systems Subcommittee since 2005.
